My Daily Limit does not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal or financial data. Everything you enter — your income, expenses, budgets, and savings goals — stays stored locally on your own device. We have no servers, no user accounts, and no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs built into the app.
My Daily Limit lets you record financial information for your own budgeting purposes, including:
This information is entered directly by you and is stored only in the app's local storage on your device. We never receive, view, or have access to this data ourselves — it never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it (see below).
The app lets you export your spending data as a PDF report or CSV file. When you use this feature, the exported file is created on your device and shared using iOS's standard share sheet — you control where it goes (for example, saving it, emailing it, or sending it via another app). We do not receive a copy of anything you export.
If you use iOS features like iCloud Backup or a local device backup, your app data may be included in that backup as part of your device's normal backup process. This is managed entirely by Apple/your device settings, not by us, and is subject to Apple's own privacy practices for iCloud.
My Daily Limit is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the app collects no data at all, this is inherent to how the app works rather than something we separately enforce.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data collection — we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above accordingly.
